WE MOVE ON

Saturday Update
It’s Saturday, which means a “me” day for me. I’ll be heading to The Bake in Duluth for breakfast, as usual. If you’d like to join, feel free to stop by at 8:30 AM and hang out for a bit. Of course, it’s open to the public, so you can come whenever you like—but if you want to be around some interesting folks, 8:30 is the time to be there.
Now, let’s keep this brief.
Yesterday, the old basement dweller managed to sneak onto the freight elevator. I hadn’t seen him in a while, but he made his way to an upper floor and caused a bit of chaos. He ran around for most of the day, but the team on that floor came together, fought back, and sent him right back where he belongs. I couldn’t be prouder of how they handled it. Sure, there was frustration, yelling, and a hard pushback—but by the end of the day, the jackass was back in the basement, and the floor survived.
Penthouse Dude even sent a little gift to close out the day, and today, we start cleaning up the debris. It’ll take some time to get everything back to normal—maybe even better than before. This team showed resilience, strength, and true survival instincts.
A huge thank you to Brittany, Sam, Kelly, Stacy, Luz, Lola, Hayden, Jorge, Constantine, Marlene, Rosa, Jagger, Luis, Edgar, Sandi, Desiree, Ashley, Alba, and Danielle—your hard work and perseverance didn’t go unnoticed. Yesterday was tough, but you handled it like pros, and I have no doubt brighter days are ahead for each of you.
There’s a lot more I could say, but for now, I’ll leave it at this. Thanks to the man for the gift and the care. As for the other matter—let’s just say, you could have had a better plan.
Proud of this floor.
